I don't take credit for these. Sol from the Discord came up with these.
14) A Big Tree!
D6 table of features:
- The tree is clearly dying. The Pokemon must be transplanted elsewhere.
- A newcomer has arrived, driving out the Pokemon that used to live here.
- The tree is in bloom! Many more Pokemon than normal are present.
- The tree is intrinsically tied to a particular species of Pokemon; it may be part of their body, or they have heavily altered it to suit them.
- It's really, really big. If you could climb to the top, you can see for a long distance.
- The tree has grown around or over something.
15) A Serene Lake
D6
- The lake is extremely clear. There's something valuable at the bottom, but it has a guardian.
- Someone's set up camp along the shore; roll for random trainer on table
- Where are the Pokemon? Is something wrong here?
- The bushes surrounding the lake are covered in berries. This would be a nice place to rest.
- The lake is deep and murky. You can't see the bottom.
- Across the lake, you see a Pokemon of uncommon rarity and/or power. It was drinking, but now it's looking at you.
16) Weird Cave (roll twice and combine)
D8
1. There are crystal growths everywhere. Pretty! And sharp, ouch!
2. The cave is uncommonly warm.
3. The cave is uncommonly cold.
4. The cave is charged with static. Your hair stands on end.
5. Leafy vines cover the walls, and moss covers the floor.
6. Why is it so wet?
7. Oh, crud, the floor's unstable! You find yourself deeper than expected.
8. Strange glyphs are carved or painted on the walls. If you sleep here, you will have strange dreams.
17A) You found someone living here! (d6)
1. They like visitors!
2. They don't like visitors!
3. There are multiple people or groups here, and they don't like each other.
4. Actually, you found their campsite or home- they're out right now.
5. They've been attacked! You found their camp or nest in shambles, and them knocked out.
6. Actually, their home is somewhere else- you found them traveling or wandering for some reason.
17B) Where's that Pokemon? (d6)
1. In a bush, eating berries by the handful. You can spot them by the bush rustling.
2. Taking a drink from a pool of water.
3. Sitting in a high place, looking down at everyone- including you.
4. Currently in a chase- either as the chaser or the chasee.
5. Sitting on the ground- they blend in so well, you didn't see them at first.
6. In the tall grass, where it's hard to see- you bump into each other before you see each other.
17C) Detail: How's that Pokemon? (d6)
1. A bit standoffish. It'd like you to respect its personal space.
2. Not doing so great. Seems like they got in a fight recently.
3. In a group with its fellows. Looks like it's the top dog.
4. In a group with its fellows. Looks like it's the runt.
5. Carrying something shiny.
6. Aggressively friendly- seems like they've learned to associate People with Food.
18) Place of Power (d6)
1. Standing stones, set in a circle. At night, they align with the constellations.
2. An ancient, massive skeleton. Some wild Pokemon make pilgrimages there.
3. A circle of oaks. A wide, flat stone sits at the center. Pokemon refuse to enter the circle.
4. A crater. If you stand in the center, you can faintly sense the Pressure of the battle that caused it.
5. A waterfall, battering down directly onto bare stone. Mist and rainbows fill the air.
6. An eroded wall reveals layers upon layers of colorful geology. A fossil is embedded into the surface.
19) Weather! (1d6: Good weather. 1d6+2. Bad weather.)
1. Sunny, with no clouds in sight. By midday, you feels sweaty.
2. Gigantic cottony clouds drift. That one looks like Bulbasaur!
3. Brrrr... the wind blows straight through you. Cirrus clouds cover the sky.
4. A flock of Flying-type Pokemon whirl overhead, squawking loudly. You can barely hear yourself think.
5. Despite the gloomy threat of the grey clouds overhead, there's no rain all day. You can barely remember what the sun feels like.
6. Rain! It's a nice drizzle today, coming down in fits and starts.
7. Rain! Great fat dollops. The ground becomes muddy quickly, and puddles pool everywhere. Splash!
8. A nasty storm- the sort of thing that would keep you inside most days.
20) A Bad Feeling (d6)1. It suddenly feels very quiet. Where are the Pokemon?
2. Thump. You feel it in your bones. Then again. Thump. With a crash, you hear trees toppled. Something very large is on the move, and it's picking up the pace.
3. Up ahead, you hear a yell, before it's suddenly cut off.
4. You take a step, and feel a chill down your spine. You just crossed an invisible line.
5. Someone's left a deliberate mark behind- maybe there's a mundsne explanation, but maybe it's a warning.
6. You hear a twig snap, right behind you. You don't think whatever it is knows you've noticed yet.
21) A Bridge (d6)1. Sturdily maintained. There's a small donation box by the side, but it's been busted open.
2. Old and rickety. You can feel it sway under your weight.
3. Is that a Pokemon? Are they asking you to pay to cross?
4. Actually, there's a distinct lack of a bridge- the trail leads down into the gorge, and it looks like you could pick your way across.
5. The bridge is in mediocre condition. It doesn't look like people come this way very often, so if you leave it like this, it'll get worse.
6. The bridge is in shambles, but an old trainer has a hut nearby. They'll help you across if you stay for the night- they're rather lonely.
22) Traveling trainer! (d6)1. They're pretty sure they know the One True Secret to being a trainer- be it type advantage, diet, or something else.
2. They're a jerk, but they're a skilled jerk.
3. They're deeply obsessed with a particular kind (species, type, whatever) of Pokemon. They probably have a T-shirt showing their love.
4. A Pokemon expert (or aspiring expert, at least). They know something about your Pokemon that you probably don't.
5. A future professional. Their Pokemon and their fighting style reflect their planned career.
6. Somehow, they've caught a Pokemon that should be waaaaay out of their league.
23) A Sports Competition! (d6)1. A ball game! Get the ball through the hoop/into the goal/out of the field! Insert Pokemon Unite comparison here!
2. A test of strength! Push or pull your opponent over!
3. A race!
4. A competition of accuracy! Hit the ball out of the park / hit the targets / bounce the ball back!
5. A team challenge! Grab a teammate, fast, then roll again to find out what kind!
6. A restricted contest- roll again, and roll a d6: On 1-3, only humans can compete, on a 4-6 only Pokemon can!
??24??) Detail: Random Chase Obstacles
1. Pokemon hanging out in the middle of the path, having a good time. Don't disturb their fun!
2. A completely separate chase, going in the opposite direction! Dodge them!
3. A big hole in the ground! Find a way across or go around!
4. A fork in the road! One way is faster but more dangerous, the other is easier but slower!
5. A bunch of bushes / tires / tables / boulders / pedestrians! Climb over them or slalom between them!
6. A bunch of conveniently unlocked vehicles! Drive them!!!
25) Village! Roll for a quirk:
1. The village heavily favors one particular species of Pokemon- it's practically the town mascot.
2. Someone important or powerful likes to visit or lives here.
3. One major building or location dominates the business of this place- a trainer school, farm, factory, museum, etc.
4. These people are unusually dedicated towards perfecting some skill, craft, or hobby.
5. There's a big festival, sports competition, tournament, or other event! By coincidence, it's either today, or in a few days.
6. The local architecture is unusual in some way- on stilts, underground, in trees, etc.
